Did you know? The Promenade is connected to the Multi-purpose City Trail system by way of an Eagle Scout project?
Eagle Scout Dax Lewis managed the construction and building of a switch back nature trail connection, that begins just behind the Jewel Bell #1 Pavilion. This nature trail leads down a scenic path, beside rock formations and a small cave areas, before reaching the City Trail. Turning right on the trail leads back to the downtown area and left continues down the trail returning to the Basketball and Pickleball courts in Bell Park. From this location, by turning left a City sidewalk leads out of the Park to N. Main Street, then taking a right on the Main Street sidewalk will lead back to the downtown area, at Memorial Square. |
